OML Studios: Developing and producing original long-form content for television and streaming platforms with over 35+ shows and 75+ comedy specials across Amazon Prime, Netflix, MTV, Jio Hotstar and more. Also producing branded content for agencies and brands.
Objectives of the Role:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across OML, working closely with the Design Director and other senior leaders to ensure designs align with overall business strategy and brand identity.
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities. Ensure the team’s output meets brand expectations and client needs.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. Develop and implement project schedules in collaboration with the marketing team and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze and optimize existing design processes, identifying areas for improvement to enhance the team's efficiency and creative output.
  • Maintain adherence to brand guidelines across all projects, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee the creation of graphic design across various formats, ensuring alignment with broader brand narratives and marketing goals.
  • Plan and manage the execution of all visual elements associated with campaign launches, from concept to completion.
  • Ensure the highest quality standards are met across the creative portfolio, whether designed in-house or through agency collaboration.
  • Lead the development of creative concepts for marketing and strategic campaigns, constantly pushing the boundaries to engage audiences effectively.
  • Work closely with multiple teams and clients, including marketing, product, and executive leadership, to deliver a wide range of materials such as presentations, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing collateral.
  • Perform advanced retouching and manipulation of images, manage design uploads, and ensure best practices are followed in the use of content management systems.
  •  Maintain clear and productive communication with management and clients, providing updates on project milestones and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Creative & Craft Excellence: Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and other Adobe Creative Suite tools, with a progressive approach to AI-assisted workflows (Midjourney, Firefly, Runway, Gemini, ChatGPT) to enhance ideation, speed and experimentation without compromising craft.
  • Integrated Campaign Leadership: Over 5 years of experience across leading advertising, digital, design agencies and in-house creative teams, delivering cohesive brand narratives across film, print, digital and experiential platforms.
  •  Conceptual & Visual Direction: A compelling portfolio reflecting conceptual depth and refined execution. Proven ability to lead visual thinking from initial insight and idea development through to final production across integrated touchpoints.
  • Strategic Alignment: Strong understanding of business objectives, ensuring all creative outputs are insight-driven, culturally relevant and strategically grounded.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams with evolving priorities, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes within timelines.
  • Creative Leadership Mindset: Naturally curious, committed to continuous learning and elevating team standards. Brings composure, clarity and confidence to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Qualifications & Prior Experience:
  • 7-8 years of professional graphic design experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the company in high-stakes client conversations.
  • Proven ability to receive and incorporate feedback effectively, asking the right questions to ensure clarity on the next steps.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems is a plus.
  • A strong desire to continue growing your skillset through ongoing education and training.
